Destiny 2 PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Upgrades Dropping December 8

Destiny 2 is now heading into its quaternary year of content. The sequel to Bungie's super successful, sci-fi shooter Destiny, launched back in September 2022 and has gone from strength to strength, with continuous updates from the developers. The latest update, Beyond Lite, is due for release this November and will come up packed with plenty of new content for players to sink their teeth into. The update will be launching on the PS4, PC and Xbox One, likewise as the PS5 and Xbox Serial X and South, nevertheless, the game won't have received its full side by side-gen upgrades on the latter consoles by that point.

The mail service reiterated what Bungie had previously mentioned, stating that both the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game would be running in 4K and the Xbox Series S running in 1080p. All three next-gen versions of the game will be able to hitting 60fps.

They also confirmed, that for the showtime fourth dimension ever, Destiny 2 console players would be receiving Field of View customisation, something that upward until this point has only been available in the PC version of the game. Bungie says that the aim is "to enable a FOV range similar to that on PC" and that they will "accept additional details closer to launch."
